Leave it to Kate Middleton to give birth and then walk out the door in a dress we’re still coveting — let alone, go back to work while we’d still be knee-deep in Netflix marathons. On August 15, a Palace source confirmed that the Duchess of Cambridge, who gave birth to son Prince George Alexander Louis on July 22, will be back to her charity duties next month.
As it stands, Kate and Prince William are set to attend the Tusk Trust awards dinner on September 12, honoring one of Wills’ favorite charities. “That is the plan at the moment,” the source says of the Royal couple’s first big appearance.
Since giving birth, Kate and Wills have been living in Wales in a four-bedroom farmhouse, getting to know their son. But their getaway wasn’t before Queen Elizabeth got to meet her grandson on July 24, at Kensington Palace.
Prior to her leave, the Princess made appearances, christened things, and made us jealous of everything she wore and did.
So, what exactly will Kate be returning to? Well, according to Prince Georgie’s birth certificate, Kate’s official job is “Princess of the United Kingdom,” so we assume she’ll be doing the usual duties of working with charities and being enviably beautiful and Royal.Source: People
